“ My husband and I went to Morocco for our honeymoon trip in October 2024. We had the absolute BEST time. This trip has been my favorite trip I've taken in my life. Our rough guides itinerary was perfect. We were able to stay in the beautiful riads in Marrakech and were surrounded by so much culture and history. Then we drove to a Kasbah in the Palm Oasis which was magnificent. The dinner meal there was our favorite. We then made our way to a desert safari where we got to ride camels and watched the sunset on the dunes. Everyone showed us immense hospitality and you can just feel the love and kindness they have in everything they helped us do. Our driver Moad made the experience EVEN BETTER. Our trip was a week long but we felt like we were driving around Morocco with one of our longtime friends. He didn't feel like a chauffeur at all. We sang and laughed and talked on our drives together and it made the hours pass by so quickly. We were just saying that we wished we could take us back home with us! We will miss him the most. We have been raving about our experience to all our family and friends. We hope to go back one day and will definitely do it again with Rough Guides. Thank you so much for a life changing trip. ”

“Wonderful trip to Morocco My partner and I just returned from a 2 week trip to Morocco and we can’t express enough how much we appreciate all those at Rough Guides who made our trip unforgettable. I usually plan our trips, but was somewhat daunted by the large distances we needed to travel between our “must-see” locations and the unfamiliarity with the culture and language, but Rough Guides made it simple. She arranged for a wonderful driver (Abdul was the best! Got us where we needed to go safely, and provided so much information and wonderful conversation), truly spectacular Riads in which to stay and the best guides in the locations we desired them. Morocco is a beautiful country with truly beautiful people, and Rough Guides made it possible for us to experience both. Thank you!”

“Our tour was fabulous. Ali was our driver and also one of our tour guides. We had a wonderful time -- Morocco is amazing and we cannot recommend Ali highly enough! He always communicated with us regarding pick up times and plans. He arrived on time. The drives in between destinations were longer than expected, but the beautiful landscape and Ali's skillful driving made it enjoyable. We always felt safe. Despite it being Ramadan (meaning no coffee or food for him) he remained alert and pleasant. We had great conversations on the road and he was open to our questions and gave thoughtful answers that gave us a deeper understanding of the country and its history. For the record, the guides that toured us in each city (Lahoucine in Marrakech, Laila in Fez, Hamid in Chefchaouen) were also wonderful, professional and knowledgable.”

“Our trip to Morocco orchestrated by Insight was an experience to share and remember for a long time to come. Our driver,Ali, was phenomenal as were the guides in every location. The riads, kasbad, and dessert tents all were fantastic with the exception of the last one. However the staff at each location were attentive to our every need. This is the first of future trips.”

“Overall the trip to Morocco organized by Rough Guides was great. From the drivers to the places we stayed to the sites we visited, it was all pretty smooth. The only thing that would have been nice to know in advance was someone mentioning it was Ramadan. Not a huge deal as we are a pretty flexible lot, but you would think the company would have mentioned that prior to the trip. It did affect/change our itinerary slightly but again, overall a positive experience”
